Center for Gem & Jewellery Private Ltd (CGJ), Sri Lanka’s most respected gemological laboratory, entrusted with grading and identifying gems, located in the heart of Colombo city. CGJ laboratory is staffed by Expert Gemologists, whose work sets the standard for gem testing practices in Sri Lanka.

(CGJ) exists to protect all purchasers of gemstones, by certifying diamonds, coloured stones and pearls.

CGJ's mission is to ensure the public trust in gems and jewelry by upholding the highest standards of integrity, and professionalism through laboratory services.

We conduct laboratory services, research, and have instruments needed to accurately and objectively determine gemstone quality.

CGJ share it’s wisdom with aspirant gemologists trough the CGJ Training facility, where we offer Certifications and Diplomas. Mrs. Nadee Abeykoon GG.GIA(USA), AJP.GIA(USA), MGA(SL)

An industry Specialist with over 15years of Experience is currently the Managing Director/Gemologist servicing the CG&J, is a Graduate Gemologist (GG) from GIA in USA and member of the Gemological Association of Sri Lanka. In Addition she has a Diploma in Accredited Jewelry Professional (AJP) from GIA in the US; and is qualified in Gem Identification, Colored Stones and Diamond Grading. She served as a Gemologist at Zam Gems prior to taking-up the challenge to establish her own establishment Center for Gem and Jewelry (Pvt) Ltd.

Nadee has conducted training sessions for the up and coming Gem and Jewelry professionals in reputed organizations in gem identification.

Mrs. P.K Susitha FGA(UK), B.Sc, MGA(SL)

Mrs. P.K.Susitha Consultant/Gemologist at the Center for Gem and Jewelry is an experienced industry Professional counting over 17 years of service. She is a Fellow of the Gemological Association in the UK; and a member of the Gemological Association in Sri Lanka. In addition to her B.Sc, she is reading for her Masters in Advance Gemology.
